Glenn Sorensen exhibits embarrassing parts of his and others private lives. Through slides and videos of his home and family he forces the viewer to take an active interest in this most mediocre Australian family. In earlier works Sorensen has, with the aid of a fictional persons private life shown what its like to be young today. In a society where it is difficult for young people to find a meaningful occupation escapism can easily become a permanent solution. In the end, one does quite simply anything to entertain oneself - that is to say to avoid boredom.
