Las Vegas is hardly known first and foremost for its galleries and art museums. When Jeffrey Vallance came to Las Vegas as a guest professor at the university he had to go to institutions such as: The Liberace Museum, Ron Lee's World of Clowns and Cranberry World in order to arrange exhibitions. Competition from the casino and the porno clubs was intense but Vallance succeeded in attracting people other than the usual art public. Ynglingagatan 1 begin their 11th season with an exhibition by Jeffrey Vallance, his first in Sweden. But it will hardly be his last. After Christmas Jeffrey takes up an appointment as guest professor at Umeå Academy of Arts.
