Bo Melin has often previously worked on large-scale projects. He has organised ornithological day trips and a couple of years ago he and colleagues Peter Geschwind and Patrik Svensson produced the exhibition "All Fucked Up" at Ynglingagatan 1 consisting of explosions and gigantic space monsters made of tinfoil. "Blue Lagoon" is a much more subtle and intimate work, the title giving rise to associations of paradise. Melin has made a swimming pool of banana boxes and water. Everyday objects that are beautiful and at the same time appear alarmingly unstable. Will it hold water? Confusion has taken shape.
