Erla S. Haraldsdóttir: "Peep-Hole" 1998
Ynglinagatan 1, Stockholm A videoinstallation where the gallery visitors are the main characters. A square from a wall was sawn off, where I mounted a one way mirror. Behind the mirror a person (invisible to the viewers) video recorded (in a voyeuristic way) the gallery visitors that came for the opening. The videocamera was lined to a video projector. In a seperated room the viewers could watch what was going on outside through a live video. The video from the opening was edited and shown for the rest of the exhibition period. |
