"Rymdinvasion i Lappland" (English title: Space Invasion of Lapland). USA/Sweden, 1959. Directed by: Virgil W. Vogel & Jerry Warren, 73 mins. See monsters walking the earth in a ravishing rampage of clawing fury!(Unfortunately not 3-D). John Carradine is the narrator for this low grade sci-fi tale in which a spaceship crashes in the wilds of Lapland, Northern Sweden. The aliens release their pet - a 3 metre high furry critter - which takes a woman captive and terrorises a group of scientists. This is a 50s monster turkey with real class, it has all the clichés and very few dull moments and right at the end one of the worst special effects weve ever seen.
