Verner Panton 1926-1998 Denmark
Verner Panton trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen, and initially worked in Arne Jacobsen's architectural practice. He established his own design office in 1955 and is credited with with the design of hte very first single-form injection-moulded plastic chair - the Stacking chair designed in 1960. |
